Nationally as a part of the HEFCE Higher Education panel member involved in the accessibility of disabled people in a university environment and becoming the face and representative of Guide Dogs UK, fundraising, appearing in national papers and on Television.

Hi Jemma,
I found a refreshing connection in your account of avastin injections and my similar experience. I was diagnosed with an idiosyncratic overgrowth of blood vessels behind the retina in my left eye in 2010 and had 3 Lucentis injections over a course of three months….the problem went away and my sight improved but now I am dealing with the issue once again. I am facing another onslot of injections [Avastin this time] …I just want you to know you are not alone…you are quite younger than [I am 37] but the situation is trying and frustrating, to say the least…thank goodness for the shots but upsetting that we must endure them at all….good luck to you.
